ELS-3300 Custom Seal Labeling Equipment

The products can arrive on the conveyor of the labeling machine either from a rotary table (optional item) or fed by an operator. Here, the operator does not have to pay attention to the correct position or properly distribute the distances between the products.

The positioning module grips the incoming products one by one and continuously rotates them. During rotation, a smart camera (or smart sensor) continuously detects the outer surface of the product. Based on the pre-trained image (or color), the camera stops the grip, and thus the rotation also stops in that position, which helps to ensure that the jar is already rotated in the correct direction for labeling. The positioning ensures that the seal does not cover the factory barcode.

With the rotating rotary table, a barrier guides the product coming from the labeling machine towards the center of the table during continuous rotation. The barrier always provides free space for newly arriving products, while the side barrier prevents products from falling. Thanks to the ergonomic design, all products are easily accessible even from the middle of the table. Its use enables fast and easy work. The 16mm wide and 31mm long seal without adhesive surface must be placed in the seal dispenser cassette in the correct orientation. The roll containing the double-sided adhesive strip matching the size of the seal must be inserted into the labeling applicator. The applicator can only handle rolls with a marker mark! After the carrier tape on one side is separated, the pneumatic cylinder of the seal dispenser cassette presses the seal onto the adhesive surface. The label with adhesive is placed on the outer surface of the product after the delivery edge.

The equipment has a positioning camera system as an optional item (item 2). If this is not ordered, the operator is responsible for placing the jar on the conveyor in the correct orientation. With the appropriate product, the jars automatically advance to the label separation edge, where the initial adhesion of the label and the peeling of the label also take place. After that, the product is placed in the rotating unit. This unit rotates the product between two specially coated surfaces without slipping, while at the same time smoothing the peeled label onto the outer surface of the jar. At the end of the track, a rotating rotary table can be used to buffer the labeled products.

The equipment does not have a printer or automatic scrap removal unit!
