ELP-500S Tamp Labelers with Printer, for Cable and Bowden Marking

The ELP-500S labeling machine is suitable for labeling cables, bowden cables, cords, ropes with a parallel-side cylindrical surface, where various variable contents (serial number indication, quality expiration date printing ...) must be placed on the label. This compact solution is extremely economical, as printing and labeling take place at the same time. The TSC MH240 Thermal Transfer Printer Series displays extremely detailed prints on the label at up to 203dpi (optionally available in 300 and 600dpi respectively).

How it works: With the help of Bar Tender software, the print image can be edited quickly and easily. After exporting the content edited on the computer, the printer automatically stores the received print settings separately. The machine's memory can store countless prints. The touch screen allows the operator to select the print image. The operator places the wire to be labeled on two support pillars at a certain distance from each other and holds it there throughout the process. The inserted cable activates a microswitch on each pillar, thus ensuring the correct position of the product to be labeled. The stable position of the cable is ensured by a trench designed according to the diameter and by the operator. In the default position, the operator starts the label printing with the foot pedal and the label extension. Then, a pneumatics capable of vertical movement pushes out the vacuum sheet, and this unit wraps around the line and smooths the label surfaces facing each other. The labeling unit consists of a TSC thermo-transfer printer and a composite pneumatic vacuum applicator.

The printing function can also be controlled independently! So, as a normal desktop industrial printer, we can also print the label of the cardboard box and unit package of the already labeled cables and bowden cables.

Labeling capacity: 15-20 pieces / minute (The amount of labeling depends on the size of the print field, the feeding speed and the length of the label on the surface!)
