ELS-3300 Labeling machine with positioning and reject sorting module

Operating principle: Filled and capped bottles arrive at the labeling machine on a conveyor.

Sorter: The product first encounters the sorter. Thanks to the sorter, the labeling head does not become clogged even with continuous feeding. The feeding speed of the sorter can be precisely adjusted.

Printing: The built-in printer prints the LOT number and date on the specified surface of the label before sticking. (The printer is provided by the customer, not part of the offer) The offer includes the installation of the printer and the construction of the communication.

Labeling: The equipment rotates the products around its axis and applies the label in a positioned manner. The positioning is based on the detectable beveled edge of the cap. (In a very similar way to the positioning unit used on the current machine)

Control and operation: The machine is controlled by a Siemens S7-1200 PLC. The equipment can be operated and the individual modules can be set and synchronized on the Siemens touch screen HMI interface.

Camera label inspection: By installing two KEYENCE IV3 cameras, the position of the label, its hanging on the handle, its vertical height measurement, and optically detectable wrinkles are filtered out.

Maximum machine speed 60pcs/min
Labeling accuracy: +/- 2 mm (measured to the edge of the cap)

The equipment has a reject station (optional module), which removes products from the track based on the incorrect result of the camera inspection system.
