ELA 4170 box labeling machine
The ELA 4170 is a special labeling machine developed on behalf of Japan Tobacco International (JTI). The system allows for the subsequent labeling of cigarette boxes that have already been manufactured. Some configurations of the device can even label any side of the boxes.

Operator panel
The machine is operated using a touch screen operator panel. A simple user interface is available to machine operators, while machine operators can use a more detailed, multi-parameter interface. Otherwise, the machine's operating information is displayed (speeds, functions, positions, error messages)

With this configuration, the "FRONT" surface of the boxes can be labeled. The labeled boxes are pushed by the 5-piece grouper onto a organizing tape, from which they can be removed with five.
